ADP

1.    Input hours

2.    Upload to ADP

3.    Receive e-mail from ADP when ready for viewing

4.    Download from ADP

5.    Print reports

6.    Verify payroll

7.    Post to General Ledger

8.    Accept payroll

9.    Back up payroll

10.    Go to ADP site and verify receipt of payroll

If a mistake was made, it was necessary to reject the payroll, make the correction and repeat steps 2 through 6 and then continue with steps 7 through 10.

Ovation Payroll

1.    Input hours

2.    Print preview

3.    Reject payroll

4.    Verify payroll

5.    Post to General Ledger

6.    Accept payroll

7.    Receive acceptance of payroll via e-mail

If a mistake was made, correct ON THE SPOT, rerun preview and carry on.

When I start my payroll, on receipt of the information from the stores, it is one continuous operation from start to finish.  I do not have to upload and download, back up or do my own verification of receipt.  I would highly recommend this program to anyone contemplating using it.

In fact,  I wrote a note to Frank thanking him for suggesting I speak with you and told him to keep recommending Ovation Payroll.

Also, just happened to think, employee maintenance is a breeze.
